Sri Lanka Shippers Council The Sri Lanka Shippers Council has been key in getting the EFC idea off the ground. A key supporter of the concept, the Council has provided invaluable guidance and assistance in making the project a reality. Board of Investment The Board of Investment was a critical driver in establishing the EFC in 2014. A steadfast partner to the organisation, BOI is a force for continued digitalisation of EFC functions and a strong ally of the export industry. Sri Lanka Ports Authority The SLPA has been an essential source of support from Day 1. They maintain a team stationed on-site to facilitate the acceptance of cargo at the gate along with the handling of vessel and cargo documentation. Sri Lanka Tea Board The Sri Lanka Tea Board maintains an office at the EFC to facilitate the tea export industry. Direct lines of communication between the Tea Board labs, ASYCUDA and Sri Lanka Customs are maintained around the clock. National Plant Quarantine Service Mandated by Law to facilitate the international trade of healthy plants and plant products, the NPQS facilitates this role at the EFC by maintaining staff during all operating hours.
